Dungkar Nagtshang.

Dungkar Nagtshang in northern Lhuentse is the original home of  Bhutan's royal family who belong to the Dungkar Choeje. Of the two remaining Nagtshangs, one was built by the first king, Gongsa Ugyen Wangchuck. A trip to Dungkar is not only retracting the advent of Bhutan's Wangchuck Dynasty but also of the origins of many Bhutanese nobility which traces their roots to this village.
